Terms of service

These terms apply to the GCSE Tutoring Club and everything sold on murtztv.com. The club and website are run by Murtz Education Ltd, trading as MurtzTV (registered in England & Wales, company no. 16778960). Contact us at info@murtztv.com.
By signing up to the club or buying from this site, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can join
The club is for GCSE students, including resit students. A parent or guardian must sign up for any student under 18 and agrees to these terms on their behalf. Students must be at least 13 to use Discord, which is where the club is run.
2. What's included
- Diamond (£100/month): 2 hours of live AQA English every Wednesday, 6–8pm.
- Champion (£150/month): Diamond, plus one Maths class each week: Higher on Thursday or Foundation on Friday, 6–8pm.
- Elite Champion (£200/month): Diamond, plus both Higher and Foundation Maths.
Every plan includes lesson recordings, weekly written feedback on English work, free English Literature revision guides and access to the private Discord server. Groups are capped at around 30 students.
We may occasionally need to change a lesson time or cancel a lesson. If that happens, we'll tell you on Discord and reschedule it or provide a recording.
3. Payment
Memberships are paid monthly, in advance, by PayPal invoice. Access starts once the first invoice is paid. If an invoice isn't paid within 7 days, we may pause access until it is.
We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of your plan.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time by emailing info@murtztv.com before your next invoice. Your child keeps access until the end of the month you've paid for. Full details, including your 14-day right to cancel, are in our Refund Policy.
5. Lessons and recordings
Live lessons are run online and recorded. Recordings are shared only with club members, inside the private Discord server.
Students never need their camera on. They can ask questions in the chat or unmute and ask out loud, so their voice or chat name may appear in a recording. If you'd like your child's voice or name removed from a recording, email us and we'll edit or remove it.
Lesson links, recordings and resources are for members only. Please don't share them, re-upload them or post them publicly.
6. Safety and behaviour on Discord
Both tutors are DBS checked. The Discord server is invite-only for club members, and only the tutors are admins. Gaming channels are only open to students whose parent or guardian has given permission.
We expect everyone to be respectful. Bullying, abusive or inappropriate messages, or sharing personal information, aren't allowed. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules. For serious or repeated breaches, we may end the membership without a refund for the current month, and we'll always tell the parent or guardian why.

7. Results
We'll always do our best to help every student improve, but we can't guarantee a particular grade. Results depend on many things, including the work a student puts in.
8. Our materials
Lessons, recordings, slides, worksheets and revision guides belong to Murtz Education Ltd. They're for the member's own personal study only. Please don't copy, sell or share them.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we don't provide the service as described, we'll put it right or refund you for the part we didn't provide. We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for problems caused by things outside our control, such as internet outages or issues with Discord, PayPal or Microsoft Teams. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we look after it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and email current members about any important changes.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
